Water has become a very rare and precious commodity today and we at Deknomet is working in every possible way to recover, recycle and reuse the water as much as possible.
We have made three in house application technologies called ADRES, HAPET & WOTS for dedicated effluent and waste water treatment. We delved into the heart of industrial water process to develop these technologies for an array of applications and optimised every aspect of water cycle. Our mission is to give solutions for specific and complex treatment of effluent which help industries to treat, preserve and recover this precious commodity in a more technological & cost effective way.

COAL Washery Effluent
Effluent from coal washery is one of the most polluted effluents. Coal washing wastewater is an acidic colloidal system which consists of high suspended solid concentration, viscosity and COD level. These effluents have highest fine particles which is very difficult to treat in normal way. Depend on the nature of mining where coal is procured and seasonal and topographical changes will affect the quality of coal and same way, wash effluent will behave differently each time. A proper and systematic technological approach is very much essential to understand the characteristics, behaviour and treatment of this effluent. Deknomet collaborative arrangements with various companies and expertise in the above field, aided us to come up with very successful and efficient treatment system for treating any kind of coal wash waste water. We have done many lab and pilot studies in many coal blocks and end user areas and this results the development of an efficient and cost effective method for treatment. Using the coagulation, precipitation and filtration principle , we use a treatment scheme which can remove COD, suspended and colloidal particles, harmful contaminants and fine particles with proper sludge management and the treated water is fit for industrial re use.
Coke Oven Waste Water Treatment
During the process making coal to coke, water is used in different way. The waste water discharged from these plants are highly contaminated with toxic substances like cyanide (CN), thiocyanate(SCN), Ammoniacal Nitrogen, Phenol, Tar and other organic compounds. Removal of this toxic and inhibitory substance is always a challenge in steel industry. Much treatment method in the past has not been able to perform satisfactory to this effluent. Our unconventional approach towards the coke oven waste water treatment is not only able to treat the waste water but the treated water can be reused or discharged without any environmental problems. Also, our treatment system occupies very less space compare to any conventional treatment systems available today.
